Attaching windturbine to tower

We placed the Skystream on my home built scaffolding. Connected the windturbine to the tower with the vibration dampeners to 80 ft/lbs of torque.

Your pictures make my ideas come to life. I want to be the first in Alert Bay to instal a system like yours. We certainly have the wind for it. I have made an email enquiry to the Victoria, B.C. office for more info.
Cheers, Eric Gregory

If you don't have one I would suggest you put a 240v KWh meter in line from your Skystream to see what it is actually producing.

We were planing to get the remote moniter it see the Kw, wind speed and be able to link them to our computer. It would have been nice to have the meter since we have no idea now how much we are generating. We are trying to decide if we should get the skystream remote or a remote that is able to look at both our systems, solar and wind.
Thanks for the comment.

I have had my Skystream since 12/20/06 and I have the Remote Interface, the Skystream Data Logger software on my PC, and I have also installed an independent KWH Meter between the Pod and my Breaker Box, and I highly recommend the extra KWH Meter and the Remote Interface, but the Data Logger software is for PC Geeks Only. Not sure if I can publish my website link, but if you want it, let me know.

Good work. I dont think our local council down under would let that one get through. Did you have any trouble with the local 'authorities'?
